Documentation

Vero leverages your users’ actions and identity information to build individual profiles so that you can send highly targeted and timely emails. Vero includes a visual rule builder that allows you to automate your email marketing campaigns. You can also use Vero to A/B test email and newsletter content, and include personal information in your communications.

Events

Certain event properties have special significance to Vero. Replay collects these properties and transforms them so that they fit the expectations of Vero’s API. The following table shows you the properties collected by Replay and the names of the Vero properties to which they are mapped.

Name of Property Collected By Replay Vero Property Name Required to track an event with Vero
event_name event_name Yes
distinct_id identity.id Yes if no email
email identity.email Yes if no id

If a property collected by Replay does not have special significance to Vero, it is mapped to Vero’s data object and will still show up in the Vero interface.

Traits

Vero also requires certain trait properties in order to create a user profile. User properties collected by Replay are transformed so they fit the expectations of Vero’s API.
